Hi to all.
I would like some opinions regarding going high compression pistons.
Basically I have a F7R 700 block that ruined the crank and the rods.
That block also scratched the cylinders.
So it needs to be re-bored.
Bought another F7R 700, however it has oil consumption via the cylinders, one of them is ovalized.
So that one also needs rebore,
Bought a used F7R 710 out of a megane, don't know any of it's history but it seems to be opened at least once.
Once and for all I want to solve the engine question.
I was thinking of re-boring one block and mounting wossners 11:5:1 or 12:5:1 83mm or 83,5mm.
What are the disadvantages of running a high compression engine.
The car is used for fast road and sunday drives.
All opinions would be valued.
