Hi lan Brought the car new from kings of Taunton Somerset
New on 1/1 1994
Had for about 4 years
Sold it to my next store neighbour as
Kids come along
Know the car all its life
Then my mate brought in 2000
To drive around
After a bit he decided to take it apart where it stayed in a garage
I got it back about 2/3 years ago
And have rebuilt the engine and
Totally rebuild the car every nut and bolt
Totally rust free as I wax oiled it from new
Will up load some pics soon

Images look great Edd you have done a cracking job there 👍.
I dont want to interfere, but it looks like the rear support pad on the hydraulic ramp has been positioned on the rear sill, just below the eyelet for the roadside jack.
Its a better option to use the structural jacking point that is mounted on the inside of the sill near the rear axle mounts.

If I have misinterpreted in photo, I apologise in advance, but I would rather say something just in case you weren't aware of this.

Did the spare wheel come silver from the factory?

I think what Jamie was getting at was that the Williams spare came as Satin Black and the 16V was Silver (both the same wheel).

If I'm wrong somebody will soon correct me....

Great set of pics...looks very nice indeed for 100K.

They're not the same wheel, the williams spare is 7j and the valver spare is 6.5j. The spare on my W1 is satin black and the 1 on my Valver is silver

The valver spare was a silver 6.5J and the williams was a satin black 7J. Im 99% sure you will have been sent a 16v spare. But it is minty mint so i would leave it.

Stunning restoration is that. I'm seeing nice little touches all over it.

Any chance of a full thread with before and after pictures???
