Hi guys, really need some help, both fobs for the alarm have stopped working, I don't think it is a battery issue as I have replaced both batteries fairly recently, I can still unlock the car using the key, it's just the alarm that will not disarm. Really quite confused, if anyone has had a similar problem, i would really love to know what solution you came up with.
standard cobra alarm??? if so then ditch it! get a TOAD Ai606 installed... these standard alarms are 20 years old now and getting very tired!!

Well it's a sigma m30 alarm that was installed in 2003, according to the paperwork, I've rung sigma and they were saying that it is probably the receiver that has died and was probably looking at a complete new system.
How much, roughly, would a TOAD alarm cost to install?

Could install it yourself if you're compfortable with wiring? I've done a couple now, removal and installation and it's not too complicated :)

I've done a couple of dash cam fits in the past, but I probably wouldn't feel that comfortable with that much wiring

NO WAY! HAHAHA!
Yea, get a good installer to fit a new system...just do some simple research for prices. Ask them to remove the old crap as it is just dead weight, which you don't want in a car like ours ;)

Treat that with care mate - you are lucky to have one that's survived that long.
