My Williams I is a small step away from MOT and being on the road for the first time since I got her a couple years back

I need to find a rear brake compensator / brake bias valve / load sensitive pressure regulating valve. All the same thing just many names.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Have tried various sites / garages but no joy, someone must have one........

Ordered and got the following reply:

Unfortunately, we need to say sorry. Part is not available any more from manufacturer. Production has been discontinued without any replacements. Your order has been canceled and refunded now. We are sorry for any inconvenience it may cause.

Damn!

I tried searching the internet for ages Paul using the above code and lots of differnt word searches. Went down loads of blind alleys before striking lucky on something that was not being sold as Renault or Williams etc, etc
Looks like some parts are getting very rare......

I Managed to get a second hand one from a scrappy. If you find it's worth checking the seal inside.

Some of these may work Graham, when I was looking though a lot of the sites let you ordr and pay for the balance and then came back saying "not in stock" and offering a refund. I sold Cathro a brand new spare balance that I had in my spares collection, I hope that this has solved his issue.

Nice. I'm surprised you can't get a repair kit like old braking systems we are such a throw away nation

As Kat said, surprised you can't just get them refurbished. I knew you could get the bias valve still though. :)

Yeah Phil saved the day for me and now got MOT and on the road.
Couldn't find anywhere that stocked or could get hold of bias valve.
