Why is the estimate so low out of interest?

I was going to say, a low mileage 1 £4-6k, no chance unless its in a right state but doesn't look it. I guess low estimates spike peoples interest maybe.

I can't believe you've put that link on. I could happily buy every lot except for the Mercedes. Hang on, I could buy the Mercedes too.

You are going to bankrupt me. It's totally irresponsible.

(Thanks.)

Why is the estimate so low out of interest?

I'm guessing it could be due to the fact that none are selling at the minute

No 168 --Has the plaque been interfered with ?

Looks to have slight damage, maybe the car has had a new dash at some point, and the plaque has been refitted ......

Went to the auction this morning with the hope of buying 323. Spoke to the auctioneers last week and was tod 323 had an extensive history file full off the old Mots and many service invoices to back up the miles.
A wasted journey sadly, not one service invoice, books or receipts and Oldest Mot was late 2004 at about 45k miles if I remember rightly. The receipts were all for bits bought around 2014 onwards and that was it. Very disappointed. Condition of the car outside was okish, it had been lacquered at some stage which was peeling off all round the edges. Needed a respray to make nice but if that was all I would have been pleased. All round interior condition no way reflected a mileage of 88k. I'm sure the original book pack and service book would have been ditched prior to 2004 mot for a reason. The busiest time in the cars life the first 10 years and nothing to show the mileage? The history was the important bit for me as want a car to use infrequently and keep for 20 plus years God willing. Value wise I'm supprised it fetched 4800.
I hope the new owner does give it some TLC and returns the car to its former glory and enjoys it.
Still in the market for one if anyone is tempted to sell

I hope he didn't go by the auctioneers description of the history file over the phone. I was led to believe by them it was substantial and ended up with a wasted journey. They were none too apologetic either.

Charterhouse should be taken to task on this.
Hope you didn't have to travel too far.

I totally agree, I unfortunately bought the Honda CRX Lot 35 via internet auction and when it was delivered it was nothing like you would expect. See attached https://whitelabel.globalauctionplatform.com/en-gb/auction-catalogues/charterhouse-auctions/catalogue-id-cav10131/lot-639d1499-b8db-407a-9f44-a66c00e981bd?clienturl=charterhouse-auctions

The car has pure rust in the sunroof, i.e. its not white but rust coloured, the rear arches are a mess, there is a big rust spot on the bonnet, the wheels are in poor condition, the interior has its issues not confined to the coin tray jammed and pushed shut into the dash, there is a burnt out relay in the glove box. The car has not been cleaned and definitely not been valeted in a while!

I was so disheartened yesterday that when the car arrived I put it in the lock-up and walked away, I could be bothered to look at it!

I had a CRX with less miles, in better condition and half the cost! I could have bought a very clean one for £1k more http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/282143547053?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT but unfortunately now I have to pay to restore the car, that will cost a heck of a lot more than £1k. They should have described this as a restoration project!

AVOID Charterhouse!
