Howdy all. Getting round to sourcing some panels and bodywork bits n bobs.
Was wondering if all Clio mk1 slam panels are the same.
I see they are available from Nicedeals but not sure it will fit a W1
Cheers for advices guys

Yep, I reckon so. So all that's needed is to find someone selling a proper removable one.

No idea how bad yours is but mine aren't bent if that's any good to you
They all have rust on them so will want rubbing back & painting up but that's the main reason I kept them for my various restoration projects, can supply new bonnet stay cables with 1 as well as I bought a lod to go with the collection of slam panels I've already got
Cheers Paddy, pic of mine already posted above. :winkey: Mine is straight but a little rusty as you say.
wouldn't mind one of your bonnet stay cables mate.
Just posted a few pics earlier in a different thread. You may be able to help me with rocker cover or clean inlet manifold?
cheers

If I was you I'd just take it off & refurb it. As for the cable, I got them from Squeak http://williamsclio.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?43959-Bonnet-Hinge-Wires

A new 1 would need to be painted anyway so not really any benefit to do it that way either

The good thing with having spares is you can prep and paint and the fit at your leisure. I used to get fed up leaving jobs because the car was needed the next day
This one's a toy so need to worry about keeping up and running for daily transport.
Anybody had any experience of Lepsons Wheels? And at the risk of doing it to death, what is the paint code for w1 wheels?
Cheers y'all

I'm also about to get my wheels done, I just can't decide where to get them done. I've seen too many Willliams wheels poorly refurbished. :-k
