I've got one from a Williams 2, I'll check its condition if you like but fine as far as I remember.

Cheers BootStrap. Presumably mk1 and mk2 have same box?

also presuming they're all the same colour?

anybody confirm any of that please.

I'll take a pic comparing it to the one in my Williams 1 tomorrow but pretty sure they are the same. I also have a drivers door card which I think i saw you were looking for. No cracks in the the armrest, good nic but does have speaker holes. I'll post pics of them both tomorrow afternoon/eve.

I'm attempting to create a basic web shop so I can list all the parts that I have (for various cars) I have collected over the years. I have added both the door card and glove box as the first items. It should be fully operational if you take a look.

I can still show the glove box matched to a Williams 1 dash tomorrow.

Hi bootStrap, good work with the shop. Happy to purchase from there.
couple of things, did you get chance to compare the glove boxes and what difference will speaker cut outs make.
Mine has had aftermarket speakers fitted in existing door card. Pic somewhere
Can't seem to copy the link from photo bucket on my iPad. There is already a pic on here somewhere that shows the existing card and speaker.
As mentioned, car is being worked on but I haven't actually laid eyes on it since I bought it back in December.

If you want to keep speakers in the doors then it'll be fine. I do know of some door cards without speaker holes for sale, they're expensive but come with a free car currently on ebay - http://tinyurl.com/qyka6j4 !

This photo shows both glove boxes from a 1 and 2 are the same - look slightly different size but thats the angle.

I've just compared the card I have for sale with the one for my car and its actually better. If you do not want that one then I will use it for my car when I come round to that part of my rebuild.

How come you haven't seen yours yet, whats the story?

The car was bought new by bro-in law. He lives in Wokingham so I saw the car occasionally and had the odd drive in it.
About 7 years ago he put it to bed on his drive and left till such time he could either afford or could be bothered or had time to do something with it. Never managed to get round to it, life stuff in the way.

He decided he needed the drive space so offered it me. I had a mate go and collect it and drop it at another friends garage.

it's been there since getting some much needed mechanical work done. I just haven't had much chance to go and see it. And now it,s getting some attention I thought I might wait till it's looking a bit tidier till I visit. Drivers door and sills being done next couple of weeks. I am providing the parts my self and using my company resource to deliver the parts so haven't needed to go yet.

Apparently running and driving really nicely. Car obviously has speakers so your door card will be great. Will purchase after I've finished on here.

many thanks BootStrap

Yep, just checked and its all worked by the looks of it - marvelous. I'll get some bubble wrap tomorrow from somewhere and book the courier. Any problems whatsoever then let me know.

Just one previous owner then, nice.
