Hi y'all, well I've managed to locate a MK1 drivers door. Should get it late this week, we'll see what condition is like.

Find myself in need of front fog lights. Would prefer yellow for W1 if anybody has any?

I am actually in the process of trying to find some decent clear ones to replace my yellow ones so I should have some available soon :) Ill post a picture later for you of their condition.

Without checking which supplier, you can get these new from either Nicedeals or Carz2, they are on the web sites.

Had a quick word with Carz when I ordered my sills and they say they can order clears from Denmark @ £50 each - ouch
Will look at Nicedeals. For preference would like yellow like original.
We have an account with Valeo but they tell me the part numbers are obsolete as do Renault.

Howdy guys, had a quick look on Nicedeals but am not sure that the Fog Light they show is right for W1

Mine looks like this

But there seem to have a plastic surround around them.

doesn't look at all the same to me,

Cheers guys. I just wondered if you remove the plastic suuround/housing that the actual light might be the same.
Seems to have 2 screw fixings either side in the same place. the also look rectangular like the mk1.

Might all be unnecessary jibber if wiil2 has a decent pair he'd like to sell?

bare with me they are in a box in my attic somewhere , like looking for a needle in a haystack, i can remember though they are clear len's not yellow if thats still ok

Cheers Paddy and will 2. If will 2 are in good nick I'm sure i'll take those.

I do have an account at Eurocarparts and a contact inside locally so can do that if wills' are no good or not there.

Pic from will 2 would help to evaluate condition.

the surround is all part of the unit, the surround is there and acts as a bevel for the spotlight light so you can aim it up or down...

there are bulbs in them but not sure if they are still working
backing on one has started to peel off ,sholdn't be a problem, but the lens are more or less perfect nice and shiney

Just a quick note to say that had I known how hard these were to come by I would of had these off will 2.

Ones on fleabay have got ridiculous.

I have an enquiry in with Carz2 to see if they can get some for me from Denmark.
The lady there tells me they are showing stock of 2 or 3 of each side and they seem like they'l be £50 ea + vat.
Not sure if that includes carriage/post.

She is going to ring me to confirm when they've landed.

Just thought it might help anybody who may be bidding on the eBay ones.
