OK I have decided to take the plunge, I will probably regret this but its up for sale;

N808 HGP Williams 3
97,000 miles
Original Bookpack
Lots of old MOT's
Current MOT to February 2015
Taxed to February 2015

History of car

Purchased by me, July 2013.
Substantial restoration project carried out in my ownership as below;

4 new Toyo Proxes tyres
Stainless exhaust removed, back to standard (all new excluding manifold and CAT)
Rear Brake discs, pads and integral wheel bearings replaced
Front discs and pads replaced
New OEM front shocks/springs/top mounts and bearings
Replaced exhaust manifold heat shield
Extensive cosmetic restoration, including new outer sills, repaired inner sills, repaired front inner wings, new jacking point, full respray excluding roof, undersealed, 2 replacement rust free doors, replaced bootlid. Panels treated with Dinotrol rust proofer
New Renault badges all round
New roof gutter trims (one brand new one refurbished)
New front indicator lenses as old ones faded
Cam belt and tensioner replaced
New door outer seals
new B pillar trims
William kick plate sill trims replaced (OEM items, a small fortune!)
New radiator trim and wheel arch liners
Oil and filter change
New fuel filter
Rocker cover gasket replaced
new alternator
Front wheel bearings replaced
OEM Number plates with original dealer details
Brand new windscreen (removed old one at respray to grind out tiny bit of rust on A Pillar)
New gearshift Gaitor
1 new Rear quarter bump strip
New Sony single CD Player
Parcel shelf includes very rare suit carrier
Door speakers upgraded to Pioneers
New clutch cable

I am sure theres more but my memory is running out. Most receipts kept and restoration documented in pics (can follow thread on here)

Bad Bits

Dent on roof near sunroof (I recon a good dent man could remove)
Drivers door card cracked
Exhaust is knocking. I am working on this as its annoying, some more rubbers ordered but want to make people aware
Headlight pneumatic adjustment not working (common on 3's I am told)

I have spent a significant amount of money on this car. It drives awesome, performs great, there are no misfires, flat spots or the like. Its awesome to drive. I am asking £3,500 which I think is fair given the cars condition and the work thats gone into it. I have sourced OEM Renault parts wherever possible.

I have spare parts too which will come with the car; Alloy race spec Radiator (brand new) Silicone hoses, Front subframe (I was going to get powder coated black and fitted as part of restoration project, new OEM Renault clutch cable. Anything else in the garage that fits it you can have too. Please note these items come if the asking price is paid (radiator is worth £100 alone) otherwise I will ebay them seperately to recoup some money spent on it.

Its an honest car, the interior is lovely, yes there are still niggles that a perfectionist will sort but I am not asking £5000, I think £3,500 is sensible money. Spent £1500 on ebay at your own peril. Like mne you will need deep pockets or will end up scrapping it. I am an enthusiast, the vehicle is garaged, if your serious give me a call, come and look at the car, you can have a warts and all look at it and make an informed decision. I am not desperate to sell it, just fancying a 2 seater. I love this car and want it to go to a good home. I will upload some quality pics tomorrow but theres one below as a teaser.

Call me on 07557 107782 if you want to discuss anything.

Cheers Chris. It's got massive interest on eBay already! 120 odd views and 11 watchers. I think it will go fairly quick. Not entirely convinced I'm doing the right thing letting it go!

I think you have an awesome car there, and a lot of work has gone into it! I bet you're sorry to see it go! I would buy it right now....BUT...... I literally just bought my other 'one day I'll have' car last w.end (Alfa GT V6!) Other wise I'd have it off ya right now! Anyway I'm sure you will get full asking price for it! Good luck with the sale

Thanks Timmy C it's gone absolutely crazy on eBay, 50 watchers and 460 odd views in 2 days! Had a couple of what I would class as silly offers but I'm sure it will sell close to the asking price. I took it for a run round the block before taking the pictures and I'm not hell bent on selling it to be honest. I used to work for BMW and I quite fancy a Z3 2.8 they're great fun and cheap at the moment.

Car now sold. Gone to a good home in Birmingham. It was quite emotional to wave goodbye, we had been through a lot. I'm sure Matt will be joining on here.

Might regret it but picking this up on Thursday. Z3 3.0 Roadster. I just fancied something a bit more modern, fast, convertible and rear wheel drive. I've done 3 classic projects now and just fancy something a bit more modern. Oh that shitty rack unclips from the boot!
