Black Diamond 12 grooved brake discs and Ferodo DS Performance pads, what you say?

Whats your opinion on combination Black Diamond 12 grooved brake disc and DSPF pads?
I have these pads and now I want buy brake disc. Its Black Diamond good choice, or you recommend anything else?

Black diamond are shit, just get normal OE mintex or brembo discs :winkey:

They're shit because they're over priced & the reason they price them - grooves, drilled, dimpled etc - is pointless marketing bullshit, you're paying extra for nothing. The cup race cars & group N rally cars use OE discs so they're perfectly up to the job, the choice of pads is much more important

OE = Original Equipment - standard

EBC products are beyond shit, ok discs might be fine but their pads are really poor & you couldn't pay me to use them in any car I drive.

Brembo are an OE supplier to manufacturers so they will do plain, non-grooved discs, you just need to look properly

I use these discs on my track car with Carbotech XP8 pads, perfectly fine with 240+bhp in a 860kg car :winkey:
