I dont think Yoz's will beat Mehdi's time, think it may equal it at best, but it would be nice to see an NA Clio break into 12's

that empty engine bay looks really clean for yoz's car :wink:

Id say it will lose a bit of power when the full exhaust goes on and when its in a hot engine bay :wink:

like i said, i can do a kit for the Williams head no problem, but they just dont make as much power.
The williams ports are so big that tapering from a 45mm dia hole to the monstrosity that is the williams inlet port leads to some very unfavourable flow characteristics. But you can certainly still run bodies on a williams engine.

bottom end is essentially the same performance wise, so ignore that.
The cylinder head on the megane has a much better port design, and the throttlebody system you can fit to the megane head is much much much better than those you can fit to a williams large port head.
Thats the only reall diff on this matter.

it was several weeks of hard slog.
The engine dyno was used to provide accurate power figures and give us the best chance of mapping it as accuratly as possible.
the dyno showed peak power of 225 bhp at just under 7100 rpm
this engine is still very much in road trim and provides 140ft/lbs from 3000 rpm rising to 173 ft/lbs peak at about 5500 ish... cant remember exactly.
its odd to drive on the road as it pulls with such linear power that you almost dont notice until you see the speed...
with different cams in it would make more as these cams are very much based on the road going version of this engine...
we are pleased with the result, and are currentlly working on a similar project but without individual TB's but a single Jenvy body and a kinda kunky air intake system... run on Omex and the same cams as in the orange engine.
more info about that fairly soon.
its aimed to be ready for the TunerGP later this month
