So the long term plan for KJT is to have ITBs fitted, I know they sound great and look great but thats about all I know lol so im after some advice/pointers.

Whats needed and whats a typical cost I should be looking at?

Work will probably be carried out by RS Tuning in Leeds as there closest to me that are Renault specialists.

Just seen on 519s website that they do them for £2800 fitted but ideally going to be after a used package as wanted to keep the whole thing under £2k

Who will be doing the hard work of fitting the itb's & associated wiring? What engine management will you be using?

519 is that cheap because Danny supplies & uses Canems ECU's which can be used with the standard willy/valver flywheel so no need to take the gearbox off, all other ECU's require you to use a megane or 172 flywheel, so the cost of doing that adds up quite a lot

Well it would have been RS Tuning doing the work but maybe it sounds like 519 would be doing it

Paddy,
The Alpha /Weber set up,as used on my Rally car uses the standard flywheel and pick up,it comes with its own loom etc.Its an old set up now...so there could be some used ones on the market

What else is there to watch out for as I'm going to be running 45's Jenveys and a new lightend flywheel from Prima Racing.
this is not an old reworked flywheel or megan.

Why can't I use an Omex ecu.? And cut it into the loom.?

Danno,
Ive had this kit on my car from new,It was a bolt on kit complete with everything, just bolt on wire it up and away you go.Neil Fletcher Racing built my engine when he was doing work for Prima, set the engine up on an engine dyno etc etc.
Ive fitted a pipercross filter box (Ive some pictures somewhere)to a remote filter unit.I had a custom built radiator made to ensure the last (near side) inlet/trumpet was not drawing hot air from the standard radiator...I have a shortened one in my spare parts.
IThe system has been on my car for ages and never missed a beat.
As this kit was designed to fit a range of vehicles the injector leads tend to be a bit on the long side, but Im sure any professional car leccy could sort them out.
I spoke to Jenvey about swapping to there system...there comments "why !!!!",If it aint bust or giving trouble it will be ok.
Car is on my drive if you want to look......going to have steering mods done this week though.

The Omex can't understand the trigger pattern on the flywheel
