All,

Time to move on again.... please follow link to Pistonheads... will consider a lower offer from a club member to ensure the car remains within "the fold" so to speak....

PM me if interested.....

Cheers,

Darren.

Price reduced.... not a sniff... not even one call... guess there's not the market for minters at the moment....:???:

It's a sign..... You should keep it! I would say its the time of the year and without causing offence it's the least desirable being a 2.

It looks mint, my advise would be put her to bed till the new year.

I think one of the other issues is when you get above 6k your encroaching on other desirable cars which to joe public would look a better investment.

Hold out someone in the club will have it.

When did you first advertise it? If it was when you posted this thread then you only left it a few days lol

Sadly it's more than people are prepared to pay.

Yours certainly would tempt me back into one but I wouldn't pay anywhere near that much for one.

Hi Darren,

If I may suggest a couple of suggestions;

If you are seriously selling ,get the registration off the Williams and the one it will be sold with. Buyers don't want he hassle of "I need to get the reg of the car before I sell it"
You say you spent XX amount on bodywork/service - list items that money have been spent on,

Cheers,

Simon

Nothing wrong with that ad whatsoever, as I would expect from an experience Williams owner. :)

Just hang onto it.

Cheers Ian

Thanks for the comments guys - will make some changes based on the work done on the car in more detail... The problem with the number plate is if it doesn't sell, I want to keep it on the car... I'm sure a buyer would accept that?? At the end of the day, I'm not going to give it away so if that means tucking it away until the spring and trying again, so be it....

It's all about finding the buyer, when I bought my first Williams it was advertised in top marques, that's the audience you need at this level. It could take a week or a year to sell, eBay might seem a secondary option but its a very good shop window. Stick to your guns and don't let anybody break you down....

Also get it detailed, the attached pic shows one detailed and it gives it that showroom shine.
