Williams, cash waiting £1500 budget

Finally in a position to buy! Must be within 60 miles of Manchester unless it perfect (for me lol, not in general) and a further distance will be considered.

Im expecting a few cosmetic issues with my budget but dont want a rust bucket :)

Ideally, id be a bit stuck if I spent £1500, drove it to a tester and for it to fail and £300s worth of work for example :(

Having been in a similar position a couple of years ago, I picked my car up for less than a grand. They're more expensive to restore than you may imagine, trust me. I'm close to £5k now.

Thinking of selling mine and only 25 m for Manchester.
I've owned it for the last 8years and have spent loads on it but it is currently SORNed with no Mot. awaiting a cosmetic restoration.
It was my daily driver until Jan this year but took it off the road following a house move that more than trebled my insurance quote.
