Funny you should say that! I was thinking the exact same thing, so I shall be looking into getting some knocked up. Should be a damn sight cheaper than £80 a side like!

Ok, I quickly knocked this up using the measurements on my Williams. If someone else could check theirs so that I know that it's correct, that would be great...

UPADTE:

First place I contacted (the one that did the show plates) can't do them so I will have to see if anyone else can do them. Will keep you all updated...

UPDATE:

Found a place that can do them, but can't emboss the Williams logo but they can print a sticker that can be added retrospectively. Granted it's a compromise but I think it's the best we can hope for but will report back once I get the prototype.

UPDATE:

Had no joy from any of the people I contacted (I have one more possible contact, so will update if I get a positive response) so I ended up making my own...

Started with a 1m strip of black vinyl and cut to the measurements on page 1 of this thread

Used one of Wrighty's non-infill Williams decals

And a quick spray of matt black acrylic vinyl paint and this is what I had

that's not looking too bad, could the Williams decal be made a bit thicker so that once sprayed it would be a bit more pronounced, (just thinking out aloud here :) )

Fair play you are very resourceful when it comes to refurb techniques. How about putting the sticker on the sill first and then the vinyl on top of it, might need a thicker sticker and then go around the Williams with a suitable implement to get the indentation correct, looks very good as is though in fairness, where did you get the vinyl? Could do with some of that for the door to back window section.

Well the vinyl was too thick to have the option of having the Williams sticker underneath. As for the Williams sticker thickness (and colour as if it could be matt black that would save spraying) that would be up to Wrighty to speak to his guys about.

Vinyl was from here (was even enough left to do the newly painted door)
