Where to start… I have owned this car since 2008 and it has been great. I originally bought it as an almost standard Williams 2 bar a scorpion exhaust. But over the last five years when funds permit I have turned it into a very accomplished track car. I bought the car on 119k it’s now done 124k, this low usage is due to it purely being a track car.

The specification is:

Stripped interior
Cobra bucket seats with harnesses
OMP rollcage
Lightweight battery relocation to the rear of the vehicle
AVO adjustable dampening coilovers
Grooved and drilled front discs with Mintex front pads
Braided brake lines front and rear
300mm OMP suede steering wheel
ITG foam panel filter
Supersprint 4-2-1 stainless steel manifold (heat wrapped)
Janspeed single box exhaust system
K-tec decat
Piper 270 performance cams
Piper vernier pulleys
Single skin fibreglass bonnet fitted with pins
4th engine mount
Poly carbonate windows
Custom Voodoo tuning remap

The car has been rolling roaded a number of times. When I first bought it almost standard it made 151bhp. Then before the cams and vernier pulleys were fitted but everything else was it made… 168bhp on one road then 172 on another at a cliosport.net event. Then last week (6/7/13) at voodoo tunings road it made 169bhp. So take what you want from all that. But the voodoo map is very good! As proven on the track day I went on last week.

In addition to these performance parts it also has:

Refurbished Williams speedlines in white with polished lip
Michelin pilot exalto 2’s all round, plenty of tread for a few more track days.
Freshly refurbished megane f7r gearbox fitted about 700 miles ago.

Now the infamous Williams bodywork…. It’s rusty. The rear arches are very rusty, particularly the driver’s side. The rear jacking points also need welding before the next MOT.

The car currently has 10 months MOT and 2 and half months tax.

Me and this car are fairly well known on the forum having attended and befriended a number of the members on here. Gaz (cliolord) has maintained it the last few years and is pretty complimentary about the engine and KJ16v has done the mapping.

I’m not looking to break the car as this is hassle and if I don’t get a sensible price I will just continue to keep it stored in the barn and use it again in the future. It will make a superb ready finished track car for someone as it has been for me, without the cost and time it has taken to find and buy all these performance parts that are steadily getting harder to find. Backed up by service history and receipts for parts/labour.

I will be attending FCS this year and am booked in on their half day track session. So if you’re interested keep an eye out for it!

Now I have to put a price so…. £4000 open to offers. :P
