I intend to fit a manual steering rack to my rally ,and experiment with fitting a Vauxhall Corsa "A" or "B" steering column, which has an electric motor driving it.
This is used as a common conversion on the Ford Escort Mk.II rally cars to give a variable amount of response ....using a rheostat,to control the speed of return on the rack.
The idea being to do away completely with the power steering rack, albeit it uses a Citroen Saxo electric power steering pump, but still retain easy steering.
Question:- Which Clio model manual rack are available that will fit the Williams, without to much hassle.
Thanks in anticipation
