Hi there
For sale here we have my Williams 2. I class it as a running project i have had for the past year and a bit. I am only selling as i cant justify the amount of cars in the drive so this has to go unfortunately.
First off the car has done 102803 miles but this will go up as its being used but not by a lot.
Car is mot'd until april 2014 and taxed til september 2013
Car is a good wee runner with lots of new bits which i will come onto.
Interior is in great condition and looks like new inside.
Since owning this car i have spent a fair bit of time effort and money on it.
Two new genuine renault doors
New genuine renault tailgate
rust free second hand bonnet off a 16v
wings and bumper repainted along with doors and tailgate.
Brand new genuine renault shock absorbers all round with 172 springs on the front. Also reset torsion bar to original height as it had been lowered by a previous owner.
Poly bushed the front ARB
New brakes all round
Body work wise the car is getting there the only thing i havent done is the back arches, these are not too great but are still relatively solid with the original metal having never been welded. Previous owner repainted them and never put the stickers back and they have now bubbled back up (included in the sale though are two rear arches(non 16v ones which can be used to fix) i just dont have time to finish the car now as i was going to make it mint. (WILLIAMS 2 stickers are included in the sale for arches and tailgate)
I fixed the small bit of rust on the sills that had occured due to poor jacking by welding in a new piece of sill and smoothing it back before re stone chipping the sill surface these are ready to be painted along with the back arches
The wheels were in a poor state so i had them professionally refurbished using powdercoat to the correct colour and fitted them with a brand new set of toyo proxes t1r's
Brand new genuine renault exhaust fitted two months ago also from renault parts direct along with a new cat converter (emissions now spot on and car sounds nice and quiet like original.
Brand new front fog lamps
car has some service history for the past few years but is not a complete service history unfortunately. Although it was a local car from new i believe and was passed between family members. One of thewm lost the original booklet but has a good pile ofreceipts for services included in the folder.
There is lots of other wee jobs i have done too just have forgotten some of them at the moment
