The race series I'm hoping to enter by the end of the year has a class system determined by power (at the wheels) to weight.
Class B = 150-175bhp/ton
Class C = 125-150bhp/ton
Class D = 100-125bhp/ton
There is an original '93 Clio Cup car running in class C, I spoke to the owner today at the first race of the season at Snett.
I'm just doing some research, can someone tell me what power these cars ran originally? Northy? Hes currently at the top of class C, 150bhp/ton, told me he is 980kgs wet w/driver, so must be running about 184bhp (using 20% losses) -> 184*0.8/0.98=150.
I think he spun off somewhere and dnf.
Actually I remember reading a big post about your car Northy so I'll check in there.
