Hi all, well after the cam belt busting I was very very close to scrapping the old girl.

So I'm looking for a good f7r with new cam belt and tensioners for a good price. I can't be bothered getting my old engine fixed as it was on 140k and not much point in throwing money at it.

PM me or reply here with your engines ;-)

140k isn't really a lot of miles on these engines. It's worth sorting imo.

The bottom end might be fine. It did still pull really well and was as powerful as any other williams with a chip. I just can't be arsed to get the head skimmed, gaskets for everything, cam belt and tensioners ect ect.

Its just easier for me to change the lump ill have it done in a couple of days once I get a hoist.

I know nothing about this engine but just thought the advert might be of interest...

Cheers mate iv already sent him a message asking if he would sell just the engine as my gearbox and clutch were fine. Iv also got a spare gearbox iv had for 4 years that iv not needed.
I did see standard engine going for like £250-£350 before Xmas but obviously didn't need one then. Typical ay.

Not sure if it will work as the megy has coil packs the Clio does not. The Clio needs a pick up for the dizy cap I think???
Maybe someone in the know may be able to she'd some light??

The head would need machining to accept a dizzy so you'd be in the same boat you're already in as I thinks it's a head off job to get it done

I would not want to insult you mate. As said I don't want to be paying anymore that £350 for a good standard engine. I know yours has cams and all that but I just need a reliable good engine that's going to last I'm not fussed about tuning it as it was my daily.

Cheers
