View Full Version : 3.0 V6 conversion? Has anyone done it?

I have always thought this would be a really cool conversion to do. Not because it would be the quickest thing ever produced due to the weight but more so just to make it fit?

Has anyone ever scoped this out?

Or other cool conversions?

it's been done into 205s (seeing as it's a peugeot engine) never seen it attempted into a clio though. It would be tight to say the least!!

C2's have had the v6 conversion, sure theres a twin engined v6 car rolling around, would that make it a w12?

The 3.0 v6 has been put in a Renault 19. Not sure what the size difference is between the two cars but I know it was a lot of work to put in there

There is always the audi turbo conversion, i did see a evo engine in one in harlow once, but he gave up after the 4wd part had issues.

I can't imagine that the end result would justify the time, money and effort to shoehorn one in.

Didnt Matt black do a 1.8t conversion. Seem to remember it spending more time on a flat bed than Tarmac.

Cant of been worse than mine. Mines been on the road longer in the last 6 months since its gone standard, than it did in the last 3 n half years of turbo power.

Phantome 46 has a fully flegged show car. I think he want to change engines, as there isnt much else left to change.

No mk2

So all in all, a pointless post to state that someone somewhere has a mkII with the conversion. This is a Clio Williams forum which is a mkI!!

I'm not a fan of the body kit but I like the rest of it. There is a corsa / impreza being built too if your man knows of it!

True petrol heads love any car!!!!
