Spotted this Williams 1 today being driven the short distance from the car park behind the Members Pavilion at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground in Nottingham to the car park behind the TBI pub at another corner of the same ground.
It needed a wash but otherwise looked in pretty good condition with no evidence of rust on the off side arch (the only side I got a good look at) and with alloys in really good condition (with the polished lip). Looked like a regularly used car (good!) and I was struck by how small/petit it looked relative to modern superminis - and all the better for it! If the owner's local I'd love to have a chat about the car (I'm based around the corner from the cricket ground in West Bridgford).
Oooo another local williams! I'm not far from notts at all!
Dunc
This was one of the better williamsclios that i remember seeing from old. Looking forward to seeing some pictures of it

I would love to find this issue of my car!
Do you know which year it was? 😃🙏

It is very good for its age. The paintwork is showing its age, but the underside is brilliant with no welding done. 👍
