I was not doing a goup buy :o :o ,but I got a quote from a company that could make them... they are gear cutting experts,when I told people the price :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: .The interest suddenly wained
A bit like the brake kit ,I had made proper 4 piston calipers,295 mm discs... all competition quality etc etc all ready to fit under a 15" wheel .... but then NO INTEREST, :( :( :( Maybe the cost was too prohibitive !!!
I got a bit disillusioned :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: ,so now I will not volunteer for anything,anyone that wants anything can pm or ring me.

Yea, don't blame you really. It can take ages for people to bite and pipe up they were interested in items etc.

What sort of prices did you come up with for simple 23.3mm torsion bars?

I am not 100% but I think I was quoted the same price as a an Escort Mk II half shaft :shock: :shock: :shock: ... which is basically the same sort of item :wink: :wink: :wink: ie Splines at either end of a waisted shaft !!!,but bear in mind ANY diameter could be made :lol: :lol: at about £175 plus the dreaded,remember the vat was only 17.5% then,once again if you are anyone is interested,I am happy to sort it out,even to the extent of travelling 120mile round trip,to clooect from the makers etc etc :wink: :wink: :wink: .
Only it would have to be cash with order :( :(
As stated in my earlier post,with regards the brake kits ... I have currently got the thick end of £1200 lying on my floor in calipers discs,mounting brackets and bells :x :x :x :x :x ..Most probably fit them to the raly car and sell the Alcons and 305mm discs.
Sorry for going on at length :( :(
