Aluminium radiator?

I need a new rad. Iv seen some nice polished aluminium ones on ebay. Any one else fitted one of these. Or am i best using oem rad. Cheers

i avoided the shiny alloy ebay ones as according to some who have tried they dont fit nicely at all. i have no hard evidence of this but after asking about a bit that was all the info i could turn up on them!

I had a feeling that would be the case. Ashame really cos i think it would look nice and be a better quality part lasting alot longer.

not sure if this will help but, ive tried getting a new oem radiator through my local renault...and they cant get one!! dont know what is like anywhere else..even renault parts direct cant get one..

If you desparate I have a Williams1 rad with fan sat in my garage not doing much. If it will get you out a ole if your stuck looking for one.
