did/does the plip button on the ignition key unlock the cars doors??? if so does anyones still work?

yup! mine still works..from about 5, 10 ft if ur in the right postion and the weather is nice!! lol and the boot too!

Yes mine works and it locks the doors. It is finicky though and I usually need to wave it a little around the drivers window to get it to work.

Mine works on the Willy. The valver's central locking and sensor have long since been removed, but they worked well up until then.

did the willy 3's come with a plip button on the ignition key?
I thought they only came with a standard key and a plip on the cobra alarm thingy... :?

Yeah, they all came with one.
As the alarms were fitted once they arrived in the country.
thanks for the input guys. now to try and get mine working??? wonder whats at fault?? whats the first thing that normally goes???
tried it very close and it works! albeit a bit finicky! as soon as i move away and shut the door it tends to be hit or miss!

Pull the sensor out and clean up any mouldy contact, battery ok in the fob?
will give them a go mat :D
