My passanger window stopped working, fuses are fine and I have replaced motor/mechnism and its still not working. Anyone know what it could be? Is there a relay for the window?

Have you checked the connection from the door to the body of the car?
Dont think there is a relay. Each side has own fuse. The switches can break. Have you got power to switch/motor? try swapping with drivers switch. Earth fault? Dirty plug into loom. Window slides freely? :-)

How will I check power getting to it? Switch doesn't work passanger or drivers side but drivers window works fine. Sliders a free.
Multi meter, or screwdriver with the little light in and crocodile clip to earth. Or cheapest, a piece of wire and a bulb touch across the live wire/terminal and when you earth it the bulb lights up.
I take it the window doesnt try to move or groan in either direction?

When I fitted new motor/mechinism the window went up but then wouldn't come down but make a noise when you you push down. Window does work from either switches so seems abit strange that it would be that as unlikely to break at same time.
