Ecu question

Hello people. I've just bought a willy 1 engine and loom but doesn't seem to work with my existing willy 2 car loom. Would I need to change the ecu as well as the loom for willy 2 item, or would a Williams 1 ecu work with the later loom. Any ideas?

The Willy 1 ecu should work with the 2 loom, but i have had an incident in the past where i lost the oil pressure light.

need to leave the loom in the car, got to keep the loom phase same as the car, then slap engine in and the williams 1 ecu :-)
