f4r oil squirters

hi can any one tell me how to get the oil squirters out of the block there dont seem to be any fixings. i want them out to machine the block. please dont tell me there pressed in?

Go I from underneath. You can reach them by going past the crank. It's fidley butyou can do it. Did it many moons ago.

ow yea i got the crank out but i cant work out how to get them out the block

They are bolted to the block. The bolts have olds and mesh in them and alre part of the scrapers.

for anyones info there pressed in and u need a slide hammer to remove them and then there wrecked so new new ones need buying. i asked the local machine shop today thanks paul inch for the info

Just to add a little bit of info here. F7R 700 and 710 series have bolted oil squirters, F7R 714 (from later Meganes) have them pressed in. In my case they were pressed in and yeah if you want them out, you need new ones.

As you mentioned, F4R also has pressed in oil squirters.
