on a dyno how much power do 172 engines make usually?
also does anyone know how much differernce a good exhaust makes, a friend just had his dinoed made 162 at the wheels which must mean a good 185 at the fly which seems bloody good to me

depends on the dyno, but it's fairly normal to see 165-170 at the fly. Usually higher mileage cars make better numbers.

However there are a few freaks which make silly numbers on the same day as others make normal results. Laines standard cup has made over 180 on 2 separate realistic dynos
