MAYBE!! heard an almighty bang earlier whilst driving and something fell off the car and knocked about before bouncing of the road in my rear view mirror! so gonna have a look tomorrow when i do my discs and pads...

also what other marks/ models springs fit the williams? i know the 172 springs do (2 white dots?) but what else?

Send it in to the council! The roads round here are shocking and probably one of the reasons it snapped. The balljoint failed on the family car a couple of days ago and the wheel folded in under the rest of the car - could have been lethal. Luckily my wife was going low speed at the time so the car stopped pretty quick - but I had it on the dual carriageway last time I used it at Xmas and it would have been a different story if it had gone at 70mph. Can't see any reason it would have failed apart from the battering it gets on the excuses for roads around here these days.

my mate found them on gumtree in southend. C3 WLM has some eibachs for sale. drop him a PM
