View Full Version : heater blower problems
had the non blowing heater for years now, and ive always managed to sort it, by wedging a matchstick into the plug to wedge it in place. but recently no matter how much i wedge it up it stops working? surely most of you have this niggle(common fault i believe?) and what have you done to rectify it? also is it the plug thats at fault? or the connections on the side of the blower????

It could just be a loose connection, which can be fixed by bending the contacts of the plug closer together, otherwise its a melted plug which needs changing.
you got a spare plug mat?

Could this be my problem too?! Heater blower sometimes will stop working randomly while driving along then just start again?
turns out it must have been my plug? i cut out old one and connected new one with bullet connectors and its been fine since? even when i was wiggling the plug with the scuttle panel off it didnt stop working once? must have been a bad connection within the plug.... cheers mat :0)
