my gps receiver arrived today.. awesome tool.. full sat nav on my mobile with speedcamera detection..lol.. have another programm which turns your phone in to a digital speedo..lol.. records your fastest speed..lol at mo its 80 mph in the daewoo runaround!

any chance of a copy of this digital speedo proggy mate??? and what sat nav prog ya got? route 66 or tom tom??? im running route 66 on my 7610 and it the nutts mate!

How much did it cost you?
I think I've got the 6680 thats the one with the full keypad isn't it which you need to flip the number keypay round the screen to reviel?

Think you are talking about the Nokia 6820, which I use too. That has a basic phone OS, don't think it will link with a GPS. Great for SMS though.

8) How much did the reiciever cost you mate? I want this software for my 6680 :( Cant download it from anywhere as there all bad links.

i have all software on dvd if anyone needs it! will cost ya the price of a blank DVD and postage! all you need to buy are the following! a new RSMMC/or mmc card(depending on what phone yours is) i would recommend the 512MB card! a bluettoth GPS unit(£70 was the cheapest i found on e bay and it works the nuts!! and a 5 in 1 flash card reader writer to transfer the program over with to your phones memory card from the DVD.....

Have you got it on a cd :oops: Ive not got a the dvd software installed on my comp. :) I also thought the biggest card was 256mb for the 6680 :?

I need to buy one of these then?

yes! the things you need are as follows!!!

bluetooth gps receiver

512MB rsmmc/or mmc card(depends what fone you have)plus its best to have the more memory cos the route 66 prog takes up loads so you need more room for pics and ringtones etc etc.

flash card reader/writer

a twin splitter for your cigarette lighter socket(cos best to have fone and receiver plugged in cos it does drain the battery.

a magnet for the top of the dash to put the gps receiver onto

and a holder for your fone(ive got the sucker one that sucks to the windscreen

and the software(which i have on disk!!!) :D

get all these install and away ya go!!!! sat nav on ya fone!

Ive got a dvd drive but not istalled the software to run it cuz i dont really use it lol

Also, can they tell how fast you are going cuz your using gps? They being the LAW :shock: Its not tracable is it? :wink:

tell ya what fella! easiest thing to do is as follows! just send me a jiffy bag with a blank cd and a piece of paper with your address on and a first class stamp inside......then i will copy it onto cd for ya and send it back! doesnt sound a bad deal does it???? seeing as the software is about 299 euros!

yes they do have a speedo function! very good as well! will give u hand installing it its a bit complicated! u have to put the files in the right folders to get it to work!

I have tomtom 5 with full postcode look up, and all the speed camera/maccyd's poi's - works a treat - never get lost again!

Sorry to dig this old thread up but can you run this software on a alaptop?

I'm thinking about getting one and an external gps reciever. Just wondering if this or any other software is availiable.

one for pda's
one for mobiles
and one for pc's and laptops iirc???

Any idea how big the maps are for Germnay? I'm thinking about giving my phone company a call and asking for an upgrade early. IS there nay problem using a 1 or 2 gig cards there quite cheap so mgith as well get a big un.
