View Full Version : Starter Motor Fitting
OK, I'm having a little trouble replacing my starter motor. I've got the three big mounting bolts out but its still solidly in place. Can someone tell me where the remaining fitting(s) is/are please! One possibility is a small nut at the back end of it, but I'm not sure.
Many thanks,
Will
that should be all the bolts mate , however there is a locating dowel
in one of the top holes ,that might be holding it in place ??
Like i always say ;
If in doubt ,get the hammer out 8)
have you taken the bracket off thats bolted to the back of the starter and the block???
better try that 1st than smash it to bits with a hammer :roll:

im sure cerain members would disagree lol.
and f7r/p starters are diff.
No Williams starter is different to the Valver one. It's smaller because of different engine block.
arent the teeth diff too? been a good while since i messed with either engine tbh.

An adult man like yourself should not be looking for ego boost
on a car enthusiasts forum . I can only assume your gaydar subscription ran out again ?? :D

Constant moaning and arguing and ruining other peoples threads.
Any more from anyone and I think a ban for a period of time is needed.
No one is trying to wind anyone else up - lifes to short.
