Hi, were is the engine number located on a williams/16v, and how would i know wether its was a genuine williams engine?
Tar
on the back of the block (i think, maybe the front) you'll see F7P, or F7R in raised lettering
F7R is williams
It will be on the front of the block on the r/h/s near the oil filter, pot riveted onto the block - if its a clio 1.8 16v it will start F7P722 and if its a williams it will start F7R 700
