Up for sale my 1993 Renault Clio Williams #409 that I took in p/x.
Currently on around 137k miles. MOT till August 13th 2012 and Tax until 30th June 2012
Good points and recent work -
New parts 3000 miles ago -
- Cambelt, tensioner and waterpump
- NGK Irridium spark plugs
- Magnecore ht leads
- Rotor arm
- Dizzy cap
- Gearbox oil
- Long life coolant and a flush
- EBC Green stuff pads all round
- Brand new front brake hoses
- New battery
- Will also give it an oil and filter change before it goes.
This Williams is mostly standard and the only mods are as follows -
- Fully polybushed all round including gearbox dogbone mount
- Short shift link (gearbox end) retaining standard lever with new genuine Williams gearknob.
- Lowered 20mm at the front
- Spax adjustable rear shocks
Renault book stamped up to about 116k miles, but has loads of receipts and paperwork since 1993! Drives really well and has excellent oil pressure. Gearbox feels nice and tight with no crunches or whining in any gear. Brakes are good (bit of surface marks on the discs but will clear once driven, it has been sat on my drive for 3 weeks!). Doesn't use any oil or coolant and has never let me down.
Bad Points -
- Rear arches and roof have key marks on them and will require paint
- Front passenger wheel has light kerb mark (few inches)
- Starter motor sometimes sticks but ALWAYS starts first time EVERYTIME. Could just need realigning!
