As above?

I've heard of 13000 rpm on standard rods in a race spec F7R before but not got much detail about that yet.

With top notch rods etc what could I achieve and keep reliable, assuming crank is good for it and stuff as well?

problem will always be top end

crank rods can do 10k with the right bits but very expensive valves will last all of 5k between replacement.. lol

Valves wear out? Hmm screw rebuilds every 5k lol.

Valves the size of F7R ones would fatigue VERY quickly at those rpm, and you'd be looking at some mega expensive springs to get anywhere near to controlling them too, and they would also be a disposable item.
You'll never get a shitty F7R head to breathe properly at those RPM anyway so would be no point in even trying.

Unless you are racing, building a £20K engine to last 1K miles seems like a fruitless exercise to me.
