1997 MGF 1.8 VVC, Tahiti blue, 79000 miles.
This car was to be my weekend toy. I am a car enthusiast and planned on keeping it for a very long time and making it as clean as possible. I inherited the car from my mum who bought it in 2006. In that time it has only covered 10000 miles. It has always been stored in the garage and regularly serviced.
The car has excellent tyres, all disc and pads were replaced at 77000 miles, the cambelt has been changed and the engine starts first time, every time and runs very smooth. This car has the original engine and has never suffered any cooling problems.
The car has all the usual features plus aircon, genuine new MG mats and a cream leather interior. Its is equip with the more power variable valve timing engine. It has an expensive Kenwood cd player that matches the interior.
The car has many receipts and every MOT, plus the original ad from when we purchased it.
There are a few age related marks on the bodywork, some small rust scabs and the odd dent. It is in much better condition than most I have seen and in general the paintwork looks very nice and has a deep shine. The car has a noisey alternator belt but will be supplied with a replacement. The roof is in excellent condition but there is slight split in the rear window.
I simply do not have the time or money to continue with the car due to other more pressing commitments.
There is no MOT or Tax on the car so it will require a trailer to be taken away or a pre booked MOT. I have no doubt it will pass as its done less than 3000 miles since the previous test where the brakes were the only fault.
