How quick is it?

What are the gear ratios like for motorway driving.

They are surprisingly quick (when you don't know see too many hot hatch Mazdas and get a view of the rear which is quite understated for their performance!). Followed a pair of them round the 'Ring a few years back, which I think were probably development cars as I don't recall them being released on sale at that time. Running around 8m30s on TF and could obviously go quicker.

Thanks all. Yeah they are quick, not many people know about them which is the nice thing. Surprise a lot of people. I think the stated 0-60 time is something like 6 seconds.

The torque is great! I can accelerate up hills in 4th gear. Gears are good, on the motorway in 6th I think you are doing something like 3k rpm. Turbo spools at 2.5k rpm and around the town I get 23-24MPG.

Just hope it sells. :)
