Hi guys

I currently have a Ford Racing Puma as a weekend fun car, and I quite fancy a Clio Williams. If anyone fancies changing to a different set of wide arches, give me a shout and I'll give more detail on the car, but a quick summary and photos follow...

This FRP is one of the best available, having had a full bare shell rebuild last year to the tune of thousands of pounds. It's a well known car, with only two previous owners; the first being the founder of the Puma owners club. I knew of this car long before I bought it, and believing it to be one of the best, waited for it to come up for sale.

It has done 71,000 miles, had the all important cambelt done last week by a Ford Racing specialist, and the equally important Alcon front brakes were refreshed last year with the rebuild, the car having done just over 1000 miles since then. I have a folder of receipts for the car showing the level to which it has been maintained at Ford Racing specialists, including the recent cambelt/waterpump etc. and extensive bill for the rebuild.

In addition, the car has with it two spare keys, original handbook wallet etc. All four tyres have done just over 1000 miles, and the wheels are spotless without a single mark, having been replaced with brand new items last year when the bodywork was carried out.

Only 500 of these were ever made, and it is thought just over half of these still remain inexistance. So all in all a pretty special car in pristine condition - a great opportunity if you fancy a change but like having something that's a little bit different and special.

My email is teamwoodspeed@hotmail.com or you can PM me on here if you would like to discuss further.

Here is a link to my Pistonheads advert. Had a couple of people on here offer me cars, but please only get in touch if you have a Clio which is immaculate bodywork and mechanical wise.

Cheers for the heads up. Had a couple of people get in touch but the cars left a bit to be desired really - the prices were right given that though to be fair, but I need something comparable if I get a Williams :D

Incase anyone prefers to see stuff direct rather than click on external links - loads of pics here, including shots from all round the car showing the true condition...

Stunning example, would have thought that you would be better off selling that to someone really into pumas who will truly appreciate how rare one of these cars in that condition is, and then buying a williams with the money TBH

Probably, and I'l quite happily do that - but like me I'm sure there are people who can appreciate more than one type of car :)

Paul,

If i wasn't buying a house, I'd 100% be buying this off you. I've always wanted one, as you know. There on my list too - proudly alongside the Williams!

There is time in the future, unfortunately bricks and mortor over wheels :(

Thankfully i think i should be able to keep the Williams now though :)

Just thought I'd add to this that I'd also consider a Clio Cup 172, as I know a few people on here have those. Also, a few sensible mods towards track preparation wont put me off!

Cheers

Anyone with a Williams fancy something even more unusual and equally as special to enjoy the rest of the summer with?

Still available - after being offered a Clio Williams for the same money as the Puma. Erm...
