The Car

Okay, the car itself has been run as a daily for the past 18months, proving to be reliable and a good workhorse. Its by no means immaculate and has unfortunately been classed a cat C. The car was involved in a light rear ender, but as the boot floor was crushed up in the middle it was deemed unworthy of fixing. The box sections to each side are fine and the boot has been straightened and passed MOT no problem, however, as the car is stripped the repair is noticeable as the boot floor is still rippled. The car is totally unaffected in terms of handling etc, it was hit on a weak point and rippled the none structural, but expensive, parts of the chassis!

The paintwork has been done recently, but not to a very high standard. the doors and rear side quarters have been de-rub stripped and smoothed. Arches are pretty solid, as are the sills, very tidy body with minimal rust, however the finish on the new paint is not great and could do with attention if new owner sees fit. its by no means terrible, but don't expect any magazine features with it :-)

Apart from this, as mentioned the car is a good runner, nice tight gearbox and engine does what it says on the tin! would make an ideal basis for a track car or similar.
