For sale is my superb example of an excellent performance hatch back. You may be able to temp me with a mint Williams plus cash

September 2004 (54) Skoda Octavia VRS 1.8T in black magic metallic. Immaculate condition inside and out, and only one previous owner from new.

I bought this car with 43000 miles on the clock and since then have done a further 20000 miles. I have a 70 mile a day commute the majority of which is motorway miles.

I would describe myself as a fanatical car enthusiast and spend an inordinate amount of money and time maintaining and cleaning the car. It is regularly polished with the best products.

The car has an extensive service history and a large file containing every receipt for the car. I only ever use genuine Skoda approved oil for the services and it was last serviced at 61000 miles.

The cambelt, aux belts and water pump have all been changed at 48000 miles using genuine parts. The water pump was subsequently changed again with the recommended metal impeller type. I have also replaced all the coil packs. Upgraded the front anti roll bar bushes. Replaced the rear brake pads. Replaced the front and rear wipers. Upgraded all the bulbs. Added Audi TT jacking points to protect the sills. Replaced the coolant bottle with a genuine item and had a full system flush and new G3 coolant. Replaced the coolant temperature sensor. Replaced both the N75 valve and the MAF sensor. Replaced the fuel filter. Added a magnetic sump plug.

MOT expiry 24 Sept 2011.
Tax February 2012.

Spec includes climate control, half leather recaro style seats with vRS logo, electric heated door mirrors, electric windows, 6 disc cd changer or Ipod interface, trip computer, ABS, traction control, 17 inch alloy wheels and full size alloy spare wheel.

Being the later model this car is equip with dark headlining and interior plastics giving a much more up market feel. The vRS is based on the mk4 Golf floor pan but the handing was sorted by Skoda and benefits from a much livelier drive than other models in the VAG group. It is widely regarded as the best handling car on this chassis. It also has the same 180bhp engine fitted to the Audi TT.

To give you an idea of the type of enthusiast I am here are a few things I have insisted on. I have replaced the front tyres with the factory fitted spec, these are hard to trace but all the tyres match (including the spare) and are Conti Sport Contacts. I have replaced the alloy wheel centre caps with genuine items. I had to have the windscreen replaced due to a stone chip and insisted on a genuine Skoda screen. If anything has needed replacing due to wear and tear I will always replace it with the best quality item irrespective of cost.

I take pride in my car and as such would challenge you to find a more cherished and cared for example. Please bear in mind this is not a new car and does have minor stone chips.

I am happy to supply more pictures and information to anyone genuinely interested. Please no time wasters or canvassers. The car is used daily so the mileage will rise.
