Hi

I have just bought a 1995 Williams, and overall very happy! However there are a few items I would like to try and resolve.

The biggest problem i have is that the rear wheel arches of the car are rubbing on the side wall of the tyres.

The car is fitted with GAZ shocks, so this may have had some impact on the front of the car, but the rear needs to be increased slightly to avoid rubbing on the tyres.

Can anyone tell me if there is any adjustment on the rear axle that can me made to help increase the rear ride height.

Any help would be much appreciated.

they can be adjusted, not a specialist job exactly, but can be a bit tricky. You have to remove and refit the torsion bar to set the height you want. I use a slide hammer, others use a mish mash of sockets, studding and nuts and washers as a puller

Dan, on a side note.. can you PM me a price for you to lower my rear beam? Local places don't want to touch it.

I've been treating the bars with penetrating spray recently. They might pop out easily tbh but i've never tried.
