View Full Version : very 1st Williams'
Does anyone own a williams number 0001 to 0010?
One of the 1st willy's to come off production or was they used for rallying?
Stromba has 0002, but he doens't let it out much
I've driven 0001 and 0002 if that counts?
are they still around and do they cost more than say a 0066 because there one of the 1st?

i thought 1 was bought and written off by Franky himslef?
1 is owned by frank williams and is in the factory on show i think, hasnt been written off.
i believe the very first williams was just a prototype which was written of on the test track! and i believe that 001 is left hand drive!
oh :? i thought that 001 was factory produced car, not a prototype? and surley there must be sevearl no1's as they were produced in several different countries all with numbered plaques......so what happended to the right-hand drive no1 in this country? i thought it was written off by franky tbh
the reason i thought it had been written btw is that vid with mike brewer driving strombas no2. he mentioned on that, that no1 was written off.
i think its all a MYTH

Jonathan Williams told me that he thought 0003 was originally owned by the then Renault Sport director, Patrick Faure
