Anyone done it before?

It says: compress the damper fully and twist until it stops....

Without some serious effort, that aint gonna happen. It also says dont use too much force when adjusting, and to remove the bumpstop...its a solid bumpstop, you cant remove it without damaging it.

Did some on a gti6 last week, but to adjust them you had to pull the outer plastic casing off and hold a button down then twist. Yours could be different as these were old units I was adjusting not new ones.

These have no obvious buttons, they dont click when turned, they just spin.

The bumpstops are not removable without damaging them.

as a&p said you need to pop up the white plastic cap thing and a button is underneath , all konis are like this if you cant adjust them on the car :(

There are no buttons :(

It says compress and twist anticlockwise till it clicks and engages. Its not clicking, its just ****ing hard!

AHHH WTFX! I found a button! Had to prise off a metal cover and white plastic thing. The instructions don't tell you this.

Yay.

you have to pull up the bump stop ( it does move or at least should ) , there will be a metal cap that needs to be popped off and under that is the plastic spacer thing i was on about above. you will then see the button. i have done it a fair few times now mate so it 100% works that way :)

They feel VERY hard to press, unlike other rear dampers I have used. I have put them to about 50% damping and will fit them over the weekend, along with my new front KW v2's, which byt the way, are VERY nice bits of kit!!

It says on Koni site there are 3 clocks. I cannot get three clicks, only two. Dont want to force them.

Do you have to rotate the damper strut itself to adjust the damping rate? i.e. once it is fitted to the car it is not easy to alter the damping? Just asking as it is something I will need to consider if I go KWs in the future.

Yea, you do, but its not whole damper off, just one bolt so u can twist with button pressed.

2 clicks = 3 positions 1 you start with + another 2. unless you got only 1 click after start position then that =2 . Sorry if I am confusing the issue mate.

Yea, I think it's just three settings. It does not help that the KW AND the Koni official data and instructions are both wrong!

What a&p said is correct , you start on 1 setting then 2 clicks for the other 2 :D and wobba you are correct in saying that only the bottom bolt needs removing to be able to adjust them ( although from memory was a little fiddly this way due to room lol) :D
