Hi all
Would people recommend replacing these if doing a rebuild?
Thrust Washers - http://www.performanceenginecomponents.com/products/product.asp?id=250611
How many would you need for a Williams Engine? From my basic knowledge they stop the movement of components on a shaft, so I'm guessing they go on the crankshaft? I'm unsure how many I'd need to order.
Main Bearing Set - http://www.performanceenginecomponents.com/products/product.asp?id=250610
Big End Bearing Set - http://www.performanceenginecomponents.com/products/product.asp?id=250608
Not worried about these as they are sold as sets, but I'd be interested to know the quantities and where they fit from some knowledgeable folk. :)
Also, is PEC Automotive a reputable place to buy these sorts of things from? I was also interested in their Piston/Rod package, as it comes in nearly £60 cheaper than buying the parts individually.
Thanks.
