Hi folks
i have Clio 1.8i 16V, 1993.
I want to replace the catalytic converter with the decat pipe that i found on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/RENAULT-CLIO-MK1-1-8-8V-16V-PIPER-DE-CAT-PIPE-1991-1995_W0QQitemZ130362670049QQcategoryZ38786QQcmdZVi ewItemQQ_trksidZp5197.m7QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DLVI%26i tu%3DUCI%26otn%3D5%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D 8038785889442698475

But, the thing that bother me is the Lambda (O2) sensor. In my case there is only one sensor. As i reed on the other forums, people says that replacement of the catalytic converter with the decat pipe do not require modifications of the O2 sensor, just simple replacement of the catalytic with the pipe. But some other peoples say that after replacement you should do a "remap" of the O2 sensor.
Is there anyone who have experience with this case? :anyone:
Thank you.
Best Regards

You don't need to do anything with the O2 sensor with these cars, they are not that clever. Just replace the pipe.

Please note: the 1.8 16v decat pipe is a different fitment to the Williams decat pipe. The one in the ad you linked seems ok I think.
