Regrettably the time has come to sell my 1995 Renault Clio Williams 2. I have owned the car for nearly 4 years, fantastic times and bad times. The reason for sale is that I have bought a new, more economical car..... the fun driving days are finally over for me! The car really will be missed and it upsets me to let it go.

The current mileage is just over 125k but the engine is mechanically sound. In just under the 4 years I have owned her I have spent just over £4k in maintenance and bodywork alone.

The car has a full service history with an A4 folder of all receipts, MOT certificates and the original Williams 2 brochure from 1995.

The car has a Clifford Concept 300 alarm system with 2 key fobs and a fantastic Alpine CDA-9853R head unit which cost around £280. There are two Alpine speakers within the parcel shelf but these were already fitted when I bought the car (you can remove them if they are not to your taste).

Good Points

The car was serviced in January 2011.
MOT until 16th August 2011
Taxed until 31st August 2011
Engine is mechanically sound.
All 4 tyres have a good amount of tread.
Paintwork was machine polished in October 2010 and has 3+ layers of sealant/wax on.
N/S arch repair in August 2010.
Rear bumper re-sprayed August 2010
2 x front wheel bearing kits October 2010.
Catalytic converter August 2010
Powerflow stainless steel exhaust centre tubing October 2009
Clutch replaced November 2008
Cambelt replaced November 2008 (111k miles)
Water pump replaced November 2008.
Bonnet re-sprayed May 2008.
Alternator replaced November 2007.
Steering rack replaced November 2007

Bad Points

Rust: o/s rear arch, below driver door, underside of driver and passenger doors
Alloy wheels could do with being refurbished.
Suspension is a little tired and would benefit from new parts.
Passenger door doesn’t seem to lock/unlock using the key fob.

I have been as honest as I can with the above description. The car really is a joy to drive and I would like the car to go to a good home!

Price is £1,650 ONO
