Coil Spring Nightmare!!

Hello (again!)

I have been after a pair of original front coil springs. I have tried everywhere including Renault and GSF. The cheapest was from renault at 100 pounds each...ouch!!!

Is there a cheaper set available?
When I search on the net for Clio Williams Front coil springs the only matches i get are for lowering springs (35mm).
Does anyone know if they fit on the car without lowering it further? because i know that the standard springs on a williams are lower than normal anyway!

Just look for some 172 springs.

try going direct to a spring manufacturer such as http://www.springcoil.co.uk/compression.html provided you know the length, ID and spring rate that you want. They will also finish them in whatever colour you want.
