Needs to be an EPROM for a 2.L F7R otherwise it will run like a dog.

Instead of starting a new post I thought i would add to this thread, i have also been offered a phase 1 1.8 16v with chip caddy which I am considering using on a williams turbo engine conversion, I understand the map will be wrong but if I am to get it mapped properly for the williams turbo conversion would it be ok? I mean all the fuelling will be done in the mapping?

Cheers James

Hi yes the 16v ecu should work in the Willy. As you already, mentioned, it will definitely need remapping though - which I can do for you!

Perfect exactly what I wanted to here, Once finished I do plan on using yourself (KJ16v) to map it for me I have heard alot iof good things about yourself, what psi is it save to use the standard ECU obviously mapped upto and when do peeps look to go standalone?
