Brake bias valve plleeease need working!

Need asap. Willy 3, rear brake bias valve. Car failing on mot, can't afford brandie new one, do need working though!please txt 07947172754. Cash waiting!

Was it the handbrake that failed or rear braking efficiency?

I think you can use ones off Citroens or Pugs.

Titch, have you simply not tried to get under car, slacken it all off, clean it up, pump the valve loads and use loads of WD40 yet?

Do you not have time? It's pretty easy, just need to reset the bias correctly more or less and job done.

The garage said they'd left it overnight in
Wd40 n set it up properly over the weekend in the hope that it wud loosen it up n it's not done
Much good. Both the handbrake and the braking efficiency are failed. Handbrake normally just needs adjusting though. Any clues? Don't wanna spend a ton on it, it's being sold...

well id wd40'd mine several times, every mot it kept being oiled and just creeping through mot and every year brakes were crap.

Tried master cylinder calipers all round, hoses, adjusting fluid changes etc etc etc all to no avail.

As already mentioned in your other post bias valve sorted it and it was a good second hand one from mat at 30 quid.

Youll spend more money trying to fix everything else around it.

Just freeing the arm doesnt always work
